This only records video when the button is pressed, correct? This won't double as a motion-sensor security camera I assume.

BenDoverCheck out the Toucan camera system @ getkuna.com. Not a doorbell but works great as a motion triggered camera/intercom/light control for the front door.

FYI, this is NOT a lock. It’s a standalone doorbell/camera that requires existing doorbell wiring. It can pair with an August lock, purchased separately, but this product itself has no locking mechanism. This is not clear from the description.

morphsciFrom the photo, it seems that this is NOT the latest model. The latest model has a built-in light for illumination at night, and shows as a white ring around the button. Also, the button on the latest model has a back-lit logo instead of a bell icon.
