KESMBluetooth connectivity? You're a nutjob. Bluetooth is even worse than mp3😂

MbotWhatever...you’re entitled to your opinion but don’t insult me as a person. I use BT so I can roam @ my desk. I love Spotify Connect, & network/USB/WIFI connectivity. I’m doubtful BT offers any significant/notable difference in an A/B test...particulary with certain gear. I have a 2 channel Krell system, Oppo 105D player, Vintage Thorens turnable, Salk 3 way speakers, Woo Audio tube amp, AEON flow head sets, Senn 6XX & M2 (BT headphones), MOJO/POLY amp....and a Shunyata power conditioner & premium cables galore (Moon Audio). None of that stuff solely matters...it’s typically the source that offers decay in sound quality. Yes...wired connectivity has its advantages...but...BT sounds comparable to my ears...regardless of what naysayers like you think. I embrace wireless connectivity....it’s an alternate way to listen untethered. It’s ‘hear’ to stay. I’m tired of people like you thinking you‘re an authority on music quality. There are trade offs...nothing’s perfect or better...it’s ALL subjective.

Mark_MHard to describe. Sounds great...I have a MOJO/POLY & WOO Audio amp...that control the HD 6XX better (i.e. play louder). The Aune is great at its price point...other equipment can be had if your budget allows it. Edit: Better is relative to what you desire & want to experience.

MbotLeave? ! You never found me...& I’m not going anywhere. Go back to insulting other folks ‘on-line’. I can do whatever I wish. And I debunk your ideology around BT. The same companies that counted out video streaming are equally aloof (Oppo, Block buster to name a few). Audio streaming via bluetooth/wifi connectivity is currently an alternative method for listening to music while on the go or at home if you don’t want to be tethered to a cord. I have BOTH options...wired with audiophile grade cords or not. I’m not seeking agreement from you or anyone else. I’m doing what’s right for me despite ’opinion’. I never asked for yours....about MY sound quality preferences...or audio set up. I’m not trying to convince anyone to do anything...just sharing my set up (one of many).

KESMBluetooth aptX HD is the least I would go with, and only if I had no other option. But wireless is still not up to the task of streaming uncompressed audio. Until it is, you won't catch me anywhere near it.

MbotI never asked you or anyone else to embrace BT equipment or compressed audio files. I simply took a pic of my Aune set up @ work & shared it on the forum. You drew your own conclusions. You’re free to listen to whatever format you desire. What I don’t appreciate is your personal attack on me (calling me a nutjob via a shared forum) & your dictatorship-like view of alternative viable methods of enjoying music. You can not tell me what I hear...nor can I tell you or anyone else. ‘Better’ is subjective & does not consider ALL the variables that make up a signal chain. The source, the gear, room/listening locations, and these opinionated discussion forums all fall short of the individual users actual listening experience (whether it’s an on-the-go moment or at home in a dedicated listening room). Like everything in life there’s no perfect or ‘better’ medium...if all things are considered...there are exchanges & tradeoffs in the pursuit of the ideal condition. I‘ve heard BT connectivity (Krell Vanguard Digital amp & Sennheiser Momentum M2 headsets)...that sound comparable to wired set ups...that could likely be difficult to distinguish...dependant upon the music source material & user equipment set up. The argument for or against any medium or choice of signal transmission is subjective at best. I listen to it all...analog, digital, streaming, wired, wifi network, Spotify, Tidal, Roon. These things all have pluses & minuses...& serve purpose for a variety of listeners & applications. It’s ALL about enjoying the music no matter your preference of signal transmission. The spirit of the music moves me...not the gear or the medium or the signal. I’m not into putting people down for how they choose to listen. I will not tolerate it from you or anyone on this forum or outside of it (in the real world).

Mark_MIt sounds wonderful. Great pairing at its pricepoint. If you get a chance to...audition it. If not...it’s reasonably priced for what it is...amp...to boost HP signal.
