Can anyone tell me the differences I could expect between the Aune s6 and the Topping DX7s, I’m looking for a stand alone balanced DAC and won’t be using amp section as I already have an Aune X7S as my amplifier. I would like to get opinions on what would be best match and any other suggestions as to other Balanced DAC’s that would sound good and pair well with my Aune X7S. Thanks for any feedback!

aptr91Can you expand a bit? I have the Topping D50 and think very highly of it. It both measures, and sounds, spectacularly as far as I can tell, so if you think it is subpar I would like to learn more.

EstenAre you able to use the x7s with the s6? I heard there is no balanced inputs on the s6? Sorry just making sure because I was going to try the same thing too. Also, if u went with something else already, care to tell what fully balanced setup you have? Thanks in advance.

UltramabiGot the X7S amp great amp but no balanced inputs just RCA’s a balanced out on front so amp itself is balanced but can’t use with balanced DAC as no inputs for such. Thinking of going with Hifime UDA38Pro DAC (ES9038Pro and SA9227 DAC and Amp chip sets respectively) on their Web site it’s listed for $249.00 not ballanced but it’s gotten a lot of good reviews!
