Yep but I bought one for the 2nd drop. I got the tracking number but no update on the tracking since I got the tracking number on Friday. I know it's an issue with ups innovations but will that be fixed anytime soon?

MyTeaYou were in the second drop and already got your tracking number 4 days ago? I haven't gotten mine and I was in the first 50, let alone the first 100.. This is aimed at the staff, but mine still says enroute to the center, but you said you'd be mailing ours out today, whats up? I could just be confused by peoples comments, lol.

BehemokoYes, I was like 2nd or 3rd on the drop and Fulfillment guy mentioned " We had some inventory in stock and fulfilled a hand full of orders happily. " so I guess I was one of the lucky ones that got the extras from the first drop.

MyTeaedit: We had a shipment come in near the end of the day of more Aune T1. I believe it may be the rest of the orders that came in if not the vast majority after the first 100 came in Monday.

International orders through UPSMI are unlikely to have functioning tracking. Domestic orders should have working tracking. UPSMI doesn't normally have tracking available for international packages.

We've created a sort of interim solution where the customs declaration number (CN22 number) can be used to see if it's been passed through customs. Sometimes that number is also attached to a number USPS and/or CanadaPost uses as an identifier for that package so that searching the CN22 as a tracking number gives a bit of visibility as it crosses the border/out for delivery. However, that number is not necessarily unique and also may not be attached to the number USPS/Canada Post uses for that package (I realize not all international buyers are Canadian but a large majority are). Realistically ~50-75% orders have some visibility after going through customs with that CN22 number. That number is not usually passed through our database integration so I generally parse some of the data and export it in chunks to have it available for Massdrop's support team.

MyTea/edit Also: Never understand how I forget to mention this--all but a small handful of orders are waiting to be picked up to go out today.

Unfortunately, no, not automatically. The CN22 number isn't guaranteed to work as it's not necessarily unique for shipments entering customs for very long. Besides the uniqueness issue, it has to be captured along with the national carrier it was shipped with order number or tracking number.

Basically, the carrier has a number they use for the package and if they keep a record of the CN22 number with their unique identifying number as being related to the same shipment, often it's possible to pull up tracking by using the CN22. UPSMI is looking to have international tracking sometime in 2014. However, throw an email to support@massdrop.com and I can probably dump the shipping records as we approach the end of the week so that they can have the information available to do lookups. It'll be helpful for additional information on shipments but it doesn't work for every shipment depending on the factors outlined above. it's primarily beneficial to pinpoint severe delays if necessary as a research tool.
