Mine landed on my desk at work today - Sydney Australia. Will carry home before cracking the box. Nicely itching to give this a good go.<br /><br />Thanks Massdrop for a painless shop<br /><br />*EDIT*<br /><br />Listening to it now. Did some quick A & B ing between this and the FiiO Alpen with my Q701 - knocks it for dead. At first when I started with the Aune I thought to myself 'good, rich but really is it that much better??' so then I switched back to the FiiO..... Flat as a ironing board. It was after I went back to the Aune that the depth of the richness and lushness of the sound became apparent. The more I listen the more I hear, there are strings that are thrummed that I have never hear before. There is a wetness in the vocals, a juicer flavour in the voices. Listening to Adele atm mainly as her voical range is great, there is a solidness in her voice to start with but the Aune paints in all the colour that should have been there but was lacking, without even knowing it was lacking.<br /><br />Very cool.<br /><br />Side note I am getting the odd popping (very softly) like an old record .... I don't know if it's the track or the actual file. Not an issue but something I will keep an ear on.
