Quick question, would there be any issues running the RCA out on this through an amp that is powering my passive desk speakers?

eagletronI don't see why not, but I honestly have no idea. I think you'd be better off getting a straight DAC in your case, but again I have no idea.

eagletronI have no issues. It seems to be a low level output that is most likely pre-amp as the volume knob doesn't change it. I've used it for about a year with this without issues: http://www.cnet.com/products/polk-audio-hitmaster-speaker-wired-series/

StormTrooperPretty sure if it's a pre-amp out, that means you can control the volume using the knob.

LoH_MobiusThe T1 works as a DAC with tube buffering as a pre-amp through the RCA outputs. It will work fine feeding another amplifier for speakers.

idklelYou can't control the volume of the RCA output with the knob. It's a fixed output to be used as a pre-amp.
