I'm trying to connect my HIDIZ AP60 II to this as a transport and I'm not getting anything over either the OTG cable I bought, or a standard cable through an A->B adapter. Any idea what I might be doing wrong here?
Gr3ySounds like you are trying to feed a DAC with a DAC... a road not going anywhere... if you take the line out if available or any analog out, from the unfamiliar to me Hidiz, feed it to the RCA line in on the Aune. This will feed through the Aune SS op-amp but not the Tube buffer, more power but not much else. The Aune T1 is best employed as what it is meant to be; a nicely packaged, great sounding, budget minded DAC/tube buffer/SS amp. Get a nice NOS tube(s), download the ASIO driver for your PC, get some 24/96-192 FLAC files of your fav’s and enjoy.
rastusThe HD60 II does USB out as a digital transport. I just can't figure out if I have a bad OTG cable, shouldn't be using an OTG cable at all, or if it's putting out a signal the T1 can't decode.
Gr3yI'm guessing then that there has to be some way for it to set transfer, an on-board driver then,, if it defaults to highest - 32 bit say, the Aune T1 will not compute. Is there anything to set transfer rate to 24/96 say? The manual sucks... ChiFi... as though it is a rule to leave out stuff...
