I have a problem with mine where it will not play 24 bit files by USB... is anyone else having this problem? When I first got it, it was playing 24 bit / 96 kHz files no problem, but now it will only support 16 bit by USB. Since uses (I think) the same USB implementation as the Aune T1 mk 2, is there any chance this is related to the problem with the T1 mk2 also not supporting 24 bit files?
Any chance Nelson or someone can check with Aune about the X1 not playing 24 bit? I am using the USB cable that came with it, and tried different ports... Windows 7 and Foobar WASAPI.
edit #1 - Crap sorry didn't read the above thread. Nevermind. I can't believe this thing doesn't play 24 bit by USB... the T1 mk1 does. BUT the X1 does sound good. I'm still below 100 hours on mine but I'll post impressions after I'm around 150 hours or so.
edit #2 - so Aune does say it should play 24 bit through USB? I am certain mine did when I first got it.. and as I remember, it would only work through pushed WASAPI (event mode wouldn't play). So are our units broken?
