will there be a "huge" difference in getting this if I already have the Creative X-Fi Fatality (an older model, but still capable of 24/96). I don't have any particular hard to drive headphones.

Roman_TThere is also something like sound signature, what does it means? This amp could pair well or bad with your headphones. Every amp could work better or worse with another headphone. But I think difference in quality will by small. You should ask question if this dac/amp will have synergy with your headphones which are ... ?

Roman_TPlease do not compare Chinease Aune to Chord Mojo from UK ;) But I have found that X1S is good companion for HD650 - don't know about 6xx ;)
