Hi all, firstly, let me begin by openly admitting that I am a total noob when it comes to being an audiophile so I must apologize in advance for offending anyone. My current PC set up includes a pair of Sennheiser HD 6XX connected to a SoundblasterX G5 external sound card, which is rated up to 600 Ohm. This unit also connects to my PC Speakers
1) I was wondering if the X7S is a suitable upgrade for me? 2) Would I be able to connect my PC Speakers as well?
I hope to get a reply before this drop ends.
Thanks

yoda709I believe the X1S would make more sense for connecting PC Speakers and having a better sound for your 6XX. It would basically replace your G5 in this case. For the X7S, you would wire it with RCA to 3.5mm into the G5's line out and it would provide a significant power upgrade, but your PC speakers would split off the G5 as well with a 3.5mm splitter.

yoda709The X7S is a sound quality upgrade to my Asus Xonar STX and my O2/ODAC Rev. B. Pair it with a nice discreet DAC of your choice. I'm using a Topping D30.
