Does anyone have power output numbers for this thing at low impedances? The only ones I have seen are ones from 300-ohms, have emailed Aune a few days ago and they haven't replied, would also like impressions from planar HF owners, specifically Hifiman HE-400i.
MattmattI own a pair of HE560's and have used them with the Aune X1s for a few weeks and the aune sounds pretty good with them the bass is really punchy and not lacking for sure and just overall sounds pretty good with them. Though now i power them with a Gustard H10 which it pairs with really well as just really brought out all the good qualitys of both the HE560's and Aune X1s I'm pretty confident that you won't be disapointed with it I found it to be a pretty good buy for a DAC/Amp combo the Aune X1s that is just wish i could've gotten it at this price.
MattmattWhile it doesn't output the most power HE-400i's aren't that hard to drive. They are only 35 ohms. I know that doesn't always equate to how hard cans are to drive but this amp will be plenty.
As for customer support and documentation its the price you pay for these cheaper Chinese made devices. The customer support and info are always lacking. Still a very nice device.
MattmattFor your question on output power it goes as following,
1550 mW into 16 ohm
1200 mW into 32 ohm
200 mW into 300 ohm
100 mW into 600 ohm
and headphone out impedance is 10 ohm this is according to a reviewer over at head-fi though
