Is anyone else surprised by how many darks are in this collection of "neutrals"?

LaraThe photo of the threads collection is not the collection I ordered. I ordered the Mark Lipinski neutrals and when I just googled it now, there is definitely not the browns in it as shown in the photo. I needed confirmation that my first instinct was correct that I didn't order a collection with those browns.

HeatherVerrallDo the pictures you saw in your google search match the pictures towards the bottom of our page with the spools lined up? The Pat Sloan's Perfect Box of Neutrals has a lot of browns in it. From what I can see, you ordered the Mark Lipinski Basics, which does not have browns in it, and it has not shipped yet. Here's a picture I pulled from amazon that should confirm that what you actually ordered is the same as what you thought you ordered.

LaraThere do seem to be a lot of browns in the Pat Sloan's Perfect Box of Neutrals! However, even if we don't agree, the colors that go in the collection are up to the designer. What colors would you choose if you were to make Lara's Perfect Neutrals? You could start a poll for those colors in large spools. We recently ran Aurifil Neutral Cones based on a poll like that.
