I don't know. Instead of wasting time sourcing something like this, you should look for more worthy, real watches. Where are those Seiko JDM models? The watches section has been very disappointing lately.

Dumb gimmick. And an expensive Dumb Gimmick at that. STILL waiting to see a drop worth buying. It might never happen.

At this price point, it needs an in-house movement (completely made in-house) with a 5 to 7-day power reserve and a nice finishing (not only the rotor). It needs a power indicator on the back. It needs a bracelet and a few nice leather straps included. Oh and much better finishing on the case.

That price almost enters the MeisterSinger zone. i probably would spend a little bit more for a Meister than this brand..

It wasn't clear to me, so for the benefit of others, this watch's brand is "Slow." That's the maker's name, Slow. Well, actually it's "slow," because they're so slothlike that pressing the caps key is too much for them. (Technically, slow is a DBA, and the company is Blackboard Germany GmbH.) Since this is their first mechanical version, the model is "Automatically Slow." The company URL is slow-watches.com
Setting this watch must be nerve wracking, trying to get the hand just right, and I'm sure that there's a bit of wiggle.
This watch is 41 mm, bigger than the previously Massdrop-offered Slow Jo, their quartz men's watch, at 38 mm, and the lugs are more standard looking now. If you want this bigger version, it costs you three times the cost of the quartz one. The movement of the automatic is an ETA 2893 AIG4, according to the company's website, which has a blog post about this watch but hasn't even added it to their lineup page or store, since it was just introduced recently.
I'm wondering how I would explain this watch to inquirers. "I've been on a budget lately, and I decided to not go for the option of the second hand to save money, but in the store I went crazy and declined the minute hand also for bigger savings."
I'd love to see one that only shows months, twelve of them, like a regular watch face, but with the first letter of every month instead of numbers. The hand would make one 360 degree sweep every year. And it would be perpetual, to account for February 29. The numbers would either have to be slightly different arcs apart, to account for different numbers of days per month, or the watch movement would have to have variable speed.
Or how about a death watch, with 100 years, with markers at the average life span for men and women in major countries. You set it at your current age. It would be more a a static bracelet in practice, but you'd know that it contained a little machine moving very slowly.

Interesting concept, but with a price point much too high to make such specificity attractive, and I find the case design to be "meh". I mean, 200 USD more expensive than the Glycine DC-4 purist I've bought just here, with the exact same movement. Really?

I was checking out those Slow Watches and I gotta say, the Slow O 12 ( https://www.slow-watches.com/the-store/slow-o-12-swiss-one-hand-watch/ ) kinda caught my eye. Still more than what I want to spend on a watch though.

abelaI was wondering if you could make your own by popping off the minute and second hands off a watch with a very simple face design. But thinking about it in more detail, the hour hand would be too short, and the hole in the minute hand too small to fit on the hour hand "axle," or whatever you call it. And there would be a cosmetic problem with the unused minute and second axles, unless you put a cap on the innermost axle to hide the unused stuff.

I must be missing something here, the whole idea of a watch, for me, is to accurately tell the time. I have a sundial in my yard for "slow" days. Interesting concept however.

ColtNzNot really if you learn to read it quickly, it's only going to be off by a minute or 3. I don't see it as much of a difference unless you're looking for a field watch. Which in that case personally I wouldn't go automatic, to beat on in the field unless it's super cheap.
