Too bad on model that got dropped! You would think they would have some remaining so that some orders could be filled. (I liked the lid color combo. ) And, not sure this why this was not uncovered sooner?
Anyway, got response from Avex -- not hot liquid because plastic lid can melt. But, did not say how hot. This means you can, if you like, experiment with warm / hotish liquid. Am thinking maybe up to 150-160? Makes the vessel more versatile. We'll see.

This is the worst scam experience. Shipping promised, shipping not done...couldn't cancel order, especially when no one answers your email and then once they do, it's to say it's shipped and nothing they can do now. Then it takes forever to get to you when it's "been shipped". Will never do another Massdrop and spread the word about it.
