Taking its design from the iconic Harrier fighter jet, this 47-millimeter AVI-8 timepiece is bold and eye catching. The first thing that jumps out are the large Arabic numerals at the cardinal hours, callouts that help to easily orient the watch in the dark. Next would have to be the date window at 6. It offers a view of more than just the current day, spanning multiple numbers in an arc, almost like a gauge in a cockpit. The hands are angular, too, which calls to mind wings or propellers. And like any aircraft, the watch has a powerful engine in the Miyota 21-jewel movement. To protect it, it’s got a stainless steel case and mineral crystal.
