This is a good deal too bad I already own a scarlet 2i2 and Reaper. But still Pro tools with an interface for only 100 bucks more...... some one convince me either way, or sweeten the deal.

Alright guys,
I'm pretty excited for this one. So I apologize in advance if I sound a bit salesy here ;)
The Avid Pro Tools Duet is the Apogee's first step into the world of Windows / PCs. Apogee has long been known for manufacturing high quality audio interfaces but up until now all their products have only been available to seamlessly function with Pro Tools on Macs.
Fast forward till now and in comes Avid... Apogee and Avid have teamed up to make Apogee's flagship product compatible with BOTH Windows and Macs! On top of this increased functionality, you also receive the Pro Tools 11 Software.
Normally people might not want to pay the heavier price tag for a software if they already have one. Great things about this drop is that for only $100 more than a regular Duet you get the compatibility with Windows and the Pro Tools 11 software. Lets also not forget the sleek black on black look :)
So if you need a high quality audio interface that is highly compatible and portable, this could be what you are looking for.
The Avid Duet is a fairly new product so I didn't see many reviews on it. Here is a review about the original Apogee Duet that should be just as relevant: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/mar12/articles/apogee-duet.htm
Here is also an overview video on the Avid Duet:

This is our first drop with Avid so let us know if you have any feedback or suggestions! Thanks again for all the support!
