Our orange Ayra turned up here in Sydney, Australia, on the 30th of December, just in time for our NYE day sunshine hangs. Perfect timing! Loving it so far. Super small and portable, nice and loud without distortion, good bass response, a cinch to pair up with, nice FF, Play/Pause and RW function built into the volume buttons, quick charging and good battery life!
Our only complaints are how slow the volume up and down is, the power on/pairing sound is quite loud by default, the slowness and volume of the 'bloop' sound that tells you that you've reached max volume and that it cuts out the music to do so, and most importantly/unfortunately, the built-in mic supplies quite subpar voice quality to whomever is on the line. We've tested it with several people of differing ages and sensitivity to sound quality with a resounding, "I can't really hear you well, you sound like you're in a tin can down a hallway... I mean, I can understand you, but you sound... bad" Not sure if we've just received a lemon as far as the mic is concerned, or if they all sound this way. I hope it's just us!
Either way, we've been wanting a BlueTooth speaker for awhile, we were keen to check out the Ayra, and the price was great, so overall, pretty happy :) Hopefully the mic can be improved down the line, and the ability to link up multiple Ayra speakers would be killer, too :D
