This board is fascinatingly grotesque! Props to the members who buy it if the leather version's a one-off.
I wouldn't mind owning the "posh" version -- if only to make others uncomfortable. One question: are the LEDs white and is the leather real? I say one question because the answer to the second question is probably no (or, as the French would put it, non).

The leather is real according to the drop description.

Dis shit creepy boy!
The only things I dislike about this board is the rivets and the leather, I like the cleaner look of the original retro, but this one has backlighting.
Edit: I also don't like the fact it doesn't use standard MX Style Switches and instead uses something similar to Romer-G.
A word of warning for anyone looking at purchasing. Because the edges of the key caps aren't beveled like a normal key, all the keys sit flat and closer together, so you need to be very accurate as to not hit more than one key at a time. It took me a little while to adjust.
I dig premium materials and non-conventional switches, so this sounds like just my kind of thing. I hope it's still on the market however many years from now I wind up having spare money again.

Although I won't pick one up for myself, I'm gonna say this to whoever designed and manufactured them: it's definitely f***king bold and unique.
this is a fun keyboard, too bad it's not MX compatible keys
SpecTP
Romer-G style wouldn't have any extra keys available due to it's own rather unique stem.
Although you can buy extra key-sets from Logitech, who happen to use that very same switch design. Although pure speculation on my part here.
My wife would love the posh one, unfortunately clicky switches don't go over well in many work places.

I work in a unix/linux shop... no_click = no_respect :)
Does anyone know what type of cherry switch these would be equivalent to? Blue I presume...?

Thank you.
damn - would've joined this if it was TKL :(
Be aware this does NOT use MX-type switches, and thus cannot be used with custom keycaps other than what comes on it. They're using their own center-lit switch type: https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AZIO/Retro_Classic/images/disassembly-7.jpg
Damn shame. I'd have loved to put SA Oblivion or SA 1965 on this.

What has happened is that the old Cherry patent had finished and simply disappeared hence we are all getting these little companies jumping onboard to produce a variety of new Cherry-styled switches.
Great for us but some of them have decided to push the envelope of design and they are trying to pursue a different course. It also means we now have an opportunity to use a huge variety of switches, never before experienced when dealing with the traditional Cherry-like design.
I'm still trying to find out more about these new switches installed inside this keyboard but I suspect, I shall buy one keyboard to find out how they work and whether or not they will last.

Oh, wow, they've obviously changed the type of switch. My AZIO has cherry compatible stems.
For everyone out there who's ever found themselves thinking "Gee, I wish my keyboard had leather on it."

"Genuine Leather" isn't exactly real leather
Kryy
....What?
Is... is this the first *leather* mechanical keyboard?
I haven't seen something so Steampunk in years.

Only without the Datamancer Price tag, which makes this keyboard quite acceptable for most keyboard enthusiasts ; )

Oh, completely true. I just wanted to show them off a little. No way in hell I can afford that stuff.
