Just received my bag, It has a great quality feel to it. I have ordered padded shoulder strap pads from Amazon just to make it a bit more comfortable if I have a heavy load. I'm flying to Maui in a couple of weeks, plan to use this bag as my carry on. So far it seems like a winner!
*Update* 8/8/17
Used this pack daily for 7 days while on holiday in Maui. It worked well for beach trips, carried 2 towels, sunblock, GoPro and accessories, wallet, cell phone, sunglasses case, HydroFlask and some snacks! Pack provided enough storage for most of the items I wanted to carry on short excursions away from resort. Never really carried anything too heavy but did have it on my back for several hours at a time. I did purchase Maxpedition shoulder strap pads to make the pack more comfortable. There were a few occasions where water splashed onto the pack, the water just beaded up and rolled off. Obviously not waterproof with the cinch too closure. I actually found the cinch top to be well designed for my purposes. Very easy and quick to load and unload larger items like towels. All in all, very satisfied with pack. Definitely a versatile pack with some limitations but all said and done, worked well for my vacation needs. In fact I received a few complements regarding the packs unusual style!

Love2FishThe Maratac sack is poorly designed and thought out, waterproof zippers are pointless when the top of the sack does not close tightly and easily lets rain and water in.
Additionally the inside lining is cotton which is not conducive for quick drying and there are no drainage holes anywhere.

silverspurr59This bag is not for everyone nor does it work for all situations. As I stated in my comments "Definitely a versatile pack with some limitations". I agree with your comment regarding the bags wet weather use, I would consider this bag to be a fair weather bag only. If someone was looking to purchase an all season bag, I would not recommend this one. Other than that the construction is top notch and it fit my needs.

silverspurr59Tacti-cool one might say! Right you are, definitely more fashion than tactical. Never the less, it's well made and provides a lot of storage options. It's definitely not my choice for EDC but I have used it on several occasions when I felt it would be an appropriate choice.
