To celebrate the 110th anniversary of the Wright Brothers first flight, Ball wanted to create a heritage watch that paid respect to the pioneering aviators. This 1-in-600 piece is just that. It features a caseback that’s engraved with a silhouette of the very first plane to successfully fly. Beneath the sapphire crystal caseback, you can get a peek at the movement, Ball’s own BALL RR1301 automatic. As for the dial, it’s done in black with a grand date complication between 12 o’clock and the hands. Another key feature is the dual time zone: Above 6 o’clock is a secondary dial to keep track of another time zone with its own set of hands. The main set of hands and markers is fitted with tritium tubes that glow bright in the dark. Get it on a stainless steel bracelet or leather strap.
Note: At checkout, choose between the GM1056D-L2FJ-BK (black leather strap) and the GM1056D-S2J-BK (stainless steel bracelet). Quantities of each are limited.
