MswmSwmsWThere is a lot of debate on the matter of manufacturing, I have seen the "factory" and the car rental office across the street is bigger, on the watch forums many believe only the bare minimum and "casing up" is done in Switzerland to get the Swiss made stamp with the rest made outside of the country ( guess where ? )

JudoponyActually Orient is a better brand, at least they are not a Hong Kong Chinese manufacturer masquerading as an American/Swiss brand with a ""Swiss factory"" the size of a coffee shop for casing up the Chinese made parts with an ETA movement and pricing themselves above many real Swiss made watches.

BobtoddI think you’re full of shit bob, did someone at Ball sleep with your girlfriend? Everything I can find indicates they are in fact a US owned company manufactured in La Chaux De Fonds Switzerland headquartered in NY. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/BALL_Watch_Company https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/117uvp/i_am_jeffrey_hess_president_and_ceo_of_ball_watch/ https://www.bernardwatch.com/Swiss-Watch-Groups And your... “prices are tanking values are shrinking”, argument is bullshit also. Don’t send me to some fucking Japanese Amazon site. And also don’t send me a bunch of watches that have nothing to do with the watch that Massdrop just sold. Based upon your theory anyone could make an argument that virtually every brands values are dropping because varying online retailers are offering lowered prices. Get a life troll.

Judopony Ball, Accord Watch, Juvenia and Wakmann all have the same President in Switzerland. Keav Sui Kouch They all have the same address in Switzerland. They also have the same address in Hong Kong - 9 Des Voeux Rd W, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. The address of Asia Commercial Holdings Ltd Juvenia is a listed subsidiary of Asia Commercial Holdings Ltd in Hong Kong. Accord Watch is a listed subsidiary of Asia Commercial Holdings Ltd in Hong Kong.. Both have Keav Sui Kouch as CEO Ball watch UK has Keav Sui Kouch as CEO Ball watch co inc. USA has Keav Sui Kouch as CEO.
Wakmann at the same address also has Swiss made on their dial. ALL their watches have micro gas lights on their dials and hands. The sword hands on some of the models are identical to Ball watch hands. Even the tubes are set in the same way. Go to the Ball USA website, it clearly states that they are '' the official North American distributor of Ball Watch'' not part of the company (google street view their address and see what you get !) Jeff Hess is an antiques dealer that is president of the distribution company not the manufacturer.
Keav Sui Kouch (Kevin Kouch is his anglicized name) is listed in all the below companies, Ball is just well hidden from normal searches. Just look at the below links and the names and connections of the directors. https://www.corporationwiki.com/p/2r48fp/ball-watch-co-inc https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/mg7J4kVNFsj1C2cPYdsqpT9cq44/appointments https://www.moneyhouse.ch/en/company/ball-watch-company-sa-10370302771 https://www.linkedin.com/in/kevin-kouch-8b6b7035/ https://www.moneyhouse.ch/en/company/wakmann-watch-sa-6193367591/management# https://www.moneyhouse.ch/en/company/accord-watch-sa-13412281751 https://www.etnet.com.hk/www/eng/stocks/realtime/quote_ci_structure.php?code=104 http://www.moneyhouse.ch/en/p/keav+sui-kouch https://www.moneyhouse.ch/en/company/juvenia-montres-s-a-11169699771 https://www.bloomberg.com/profiles/people/19351249-guech-rosanna-eav
All the evidence is above , rather than just reading old articles, you obviously don't want the truth but that's your problem not mine. Hong Kong Chinese owned and run 100%

BobtoddI’ll get ahold of my buddy who works for the depart of Home land security to crack this case.
On a a side note, you do realize several people spent their hard earned money to buy a Ball watch here. Do you really think this is the proper forum for this (actually don’t answer that)?
I’m going to take a wild ass guess and say you didn’t. Maybe stick to your nerd forums and share your opinions there.

JudoponyMaybe informed people won't spend their hard earned money on a Ball watch and buy something better. You really have some anger issues going on, get some help with that, maybe your buddy can recommend someone !

Judoponyi don't think I'd categorize his comments as being a troll. he isn't looking for a reaction. he's looking to edify his readers. that isn't a bag thing.
I liked ball watches, and I'm disappointed to learn all of this. fortunately i didn't buy one, but I've been VERY close in the past. to people who bought them, if you like the watch when you receive it, who cares who owns the company? but in the future, just educate yourself as to what you're purchasing, i guess.

MswmSwmsWFair enough. I guess my thought is “educating” after a drop is already over may help folks like yourself who didn’t pull the trigger, but does nothing for the people who did.

Judoponyi just hope that the only people who would care about this this stuff are the ones who didn't buy the watch in the first place.
