blake.sanYep, I think CFRP blade version is just 55bucks toy(but it's still unique item, BUT I will not go for it too)
Look at this
Our gentlemen's carry pure carbon fiber blade knife is ultra-light, slim and stylish, making it an ideal minimalist carry piece. The knife features a pure 3K carbon fiber blade. The handle is made of pure 3K carbon fiber making it very durable and corrosion resistant. The knife features a tip-down clip and a lanyard hole. A truly unique gentlemen's carry piece. Blade length: 3.25" Overall length: 7.50" Weight: 2.1 oz Handle length: 4.25" Handle thickness: 0.34" Gift box packaging, blade cloth is included.
*****PLEASE NOTE: Carbon fiber blade is not meant for prying, will break. Carbon fiber blade will not replace your steel blade, consider it a novelty item.*****
________________ So my opinions

dealaholicWell.. Watch the video 3:20~Finish
I think your posting says to me hell yeah! Not heck no
Even Aluminum can hold edge, paper can cut the meat But no one says Thats great for cutting blade material
We don't talk about possible to cut(momentarily ) Every thing has possibility
But gamble with very low percentages of possibilities even by myself, by ma money? Ummmm...Not good idea
And also there's great ceramic edge option (And normal people think knife jsut can cut like normal knives, what ever material is , but if U have experiences, you can take things to right purposes just you want. That makes difference of our view )
lots of people do not know how to sharpen the edge. Not every body knows about knife well
In my opinion
For normal use I prefer 440 stainless steel etc. Better edge holding S30V etc. More expensive one ELMAX etc.
UL material Titanium with Tungsten Carbide Edge
(Ceramic has great ability to hold edge, but easy to break, especially tip, with just 'tick' sound )
But Full Carbon concept is still interesting and show nice exterior
