Received mine today. The finishing of the comb surface is horrible. Light scuffed and scratches all over the surface, the loophole is also not de-burr properly leaving sharp edges which is dangerous for finger. Truly this Bastion is no expert in cutting stainless steel, the teeth of the comb is irregular, the finishing is absurd, calling it a "gentleman" when they sold you crap, To those of you requested it after the drop ended, do retract with your order, there is a metal comb out there by Chicago Comb Co. that is really made for your hair and your head and of a better everything.. sincerely this Bastion is made just for scratching a horse butt.

Mine just arrived. The only gripe I have is that the bag is way too small for it. But then, I will not keep it in the bag, tho, why then even include the bag. =)

Before anyone else tries... THE HOLE ON THE HANDLE IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO BE USED AS A BOTTLE OPENER. Even though it fits it will just bend the comb. after that i easily bent it back into place with my bare hands.

I jumped in on this drop not having any idea how the Bastion SS comb would compare to the Chicago Combs SS comb. My brother has a Chicago comb. The edges are well-polished and quite smooth to the touch. It came with a premium price, but I though the product had an appropriate fit and finish worthy of the premium.
On to the Bastion now. The Bastion comb came in a bag pictured in the description, which apparently barely fits - as in, the bag doesn't close 100%. The comb will stick out by a few mm. The bag doesn't give the impression that it was meant to hold a comb, at least to me. It's a bit of an odd first impression, but whatever.
Taking it out of the bag, the Bastion comb is quite a bit larger than the Chicago comb. It makes sense, given that the Bastion has a heavier listed weight. Just by appearances, it looks quite nice. The brushed finished is nice, though I noticed that there was some unusual spots on one end of the comb. I was rather unsuccessful at removing it.
The Bastion comb absolutely does not have nearly the same level of polish and smoothness of the Chicago comb. Most, but not all, of the edges around the comb are smooth. The surface for the hole and the clip opening does not have a brushed finish like the rest of the comb, and there seems to be a large part of the hole that wasn't deburred. I ended up with a tiny piece of steel sticking into my thumb when trying to get a feel for the polish. Not cool.
Finally, the teeth has some atrocious jagged edges. It's not just bad, but terrible.
I didn't notice this at first, since I was preoccupied with the jaggies, but my comb is bent a bit where the pocket clip/hole thing is. I'm quite surprised. The comb is made from 2mm thick stainless steel. It's not exactly flimsy.
The design of the Bastion SS comb is nice. I think it looks rather attractive. However, the polish and finish is utterly disappointing. My expectation was something relatively comparable to Chicago Combs, but it's just not close at all. Unless you're willing to spend time polishing the comb, especially to get rid of the jaggies in the teeth, I can't recommend the Bastion SS comb.
Here's a few pictures. There's a couple pictures of the Bastion with the jagged teeth edges, one with the weird spots, and the bend on the comb. Then two pictures of the Chicago comb for comparison.

"Cut from lightweight and durable stainless steel" Haha what? Since when is stainless steel a lightweight material?
And what makes this a "gentleman's" comb?
