I have the wired version of this...yeah, it's definitely futuristic and cool looking, but the annoyance factor of not having any feedback at all sets in within 10 minutes of using it. There is no haptic feedback, and also one of the biggest annoyances I had, given a big part of the appeal is how it looks lit up, is that the backlighting times out and turns off every 5 minutes. I can understand doing that for the wireless version, but not the wired. I tried to stick with it for about 2 weeks, but you know you're trying too hard to like it when you literally dread having to do online chats or emails, and even go as far as buying a secondary small wireless keyboard to supplement it. Mines is just sitting around now, and I went back to a mechanical keyboard.
I wouldn't mind getting the wireless version to keep around the desk for looks, but reviews out there say the lag on it is really bad.

BastronThat would be really great if that's possible for the wired version. Is updating the timeout a hidden feature already built into the wired keyboard, or do you mean this is something you're thinking of building into the keyboard in the future?
