I live in Portland and can go to any store in town for these prices. MD ....this isn't really a deal worth waiting 4 weeks for....

eddiethedogHa ha.
How is this relevant if I don't live in Portland and can't get the same deal you can?
Seems like a very self-centered judgment on the value proposition. Good to know that it's the same price in Portland. But that it isn't worth the wait doesn't necessarily apply to everyone else outside your area.
FWIW, This is a good deal for me since I'd have to pay taxes on whatever Amazon price I can find (10% tacked on top). And I've actually only ever seen the Amazon price go below what the 20CV blades are offered for here only once. And even then that was for a few hours before they sold out. Plus I have enough knives to carry me over that I won't even think about not having this in my hand at all.
So this is worth it for me for that extra tax I'll be saving. It may not be a good deal for everyone, though. Each person has their own decision to make.

K.T.NKTN...sorry about that. Perhaps I was viewing it from my perspective, but honestly the MD deals are only so so in the past 6 months or so.
Maybe you should move to Portland where you have access to Benchmade, Kershaw, ZT, Gerber, CRKT, Leatherman (as well as some really talented custom 'small batch' knife makers) and we have no sales tax. Then you could see everything from my perspective ;). If you're into other aspects of EDC, we also have Leupold, Sig Optics, Noveske...
Fair comment though.

eddiethedogThe knife store options in the Portland area are pathetic for the home for Gerber,CRKT, ZT/Kershaw,Leatherman and Benchmade. SOG and Fox USA are just north. Sportsman's Warehouse didn't even carry ZT until recently.
Keith's Sporting Goods in Gresham used to have full size Griptillians for under $70, which is $74 in inflation adjusted dollars. Benchmade's price increase and new strictly enforced minimum price policy killed any deals to be had.
