Side Effects
One Drop’s mission to construct high quality Side Effect YoYo’s in 2013 led to the original Benchmark YoYo launch. Their 2014 launch improved vastly on their designs based on community response and trial and error. The W shape (“Wing” shape) is an agile and hard competitor with a lot of playability.

Construction and Playability
The 2014 Benchmark Series W YoYo is unresponsive and features thick rims with an angled catch zone. Because of the shape of the W, catching the yoyo on the string is simpler which allows for easier binds and tricks. The Benchmark W is all around a great yoyo for someone new to unresponsive yoyos, as well as experienced players.
