I have this monitor and really enjoy gaming on it.
Keep in mind that it's a VA screen, vs the other common IPS or TN types. VA has really good black levels and contrast, but has slower refresh than TN or IPS. You will get blurring, even at 144Hz. On the other hand, due to the way the pixels are arranged, 2560x1080 looks sharper than an IPS screen and doesn't color-shift like a TN does. As big as this monitor is, I really don't mind the low-ish resolution at all. Makes it so I can actually get a solid 144Hz in most games. Also, thanks to the large curve, the VA glow in the corners is greatly reduced.
My favorite feature on this monitor is the black-level adjustment. It does a really good job of increasing details in dark scenes without washing everything out or making blacks look grey. (like most IPS screens do)
Worst feature of this monitor is that if you want to attach it to a VESA mount, you have to buy their special BenQ adapter plate ($37), which came out to $42.51 with shipping direct from BenQ (only place to get it).
I should note though... I got my monitor at Newegg for $599 on sale, no tax, cheap shipping. If you're patient, it sells at that price on occasion there. Otherwise, the deal here is the best I've seen for this monitor, plus Massdrop takes care of their customers better.

Astral_AbyssCan you elaborate more on the resolution? The DPI of this monitor is quite low (like 80ish dpi vs a standard 23" 1080p monitor at like 95 dpi), does the high refresh make up for it, or is the resolution quite alright?

Astral_AbyssThe height of this monitor is equal to a 27" 16x9, it's just wider. So, not the highest dots-per-inch. If you think it might bother you, I'd try and check out a 27" 1080p screen in person. Like I mentioned though, VA screens have different pixel arrangement than TN and IPS and, at least for me, the lower pixel density isn't as noticeable.

NOTE: THIS HAS 12MS RESPONSE TIME! They only display grey-to-grey time here. Many companies do this to make it look better than it really is.

I feel sad for you... being all defensive for no reason. You do realize that Kitty made a clear statement and the fact that she won't even respond to you or care what you think and yet here you are "offended", had to respond back with something that has nothing to do with Kitty anymore. You missed the whole point here. You might have not started this dead thread, but you did bring someones name up in a rude way when that person, Kitty, hasn't said anything against you for 18 weeks. I scrolled up and I can see that Kitty also agrees with you that this monitor doesn't have a good spec compared to other monitors for its price. So what's the point of mentioning to Kitty about " 1440p at 144hz on a 27" monitor will have a better PPI ratio and gives back better color than an overpriced piece of shit monitor. [moderated] "? I believe Kitty hasn't said anything against your view about the monitor for 18 weeks, and neither brought your name or said anything rude about you either? You did technically started for her since you brought a 3rd party into your argument. All she asked was you to leave her alone... WHY are you so LOST? You're all over the place man!!! I get it, it's the internet and you can be an asshole, but fix your moral principles, please. Relax dude, no one cares and don't respond to me either cause I don't care about your opinions about the monitor either (I'm not gonna even respond to you either after) and I already know you're going to be triggered after reading this and the fact that you must write something back lol. Take it easy, From, Wise Stranger
