Fingers crossed that this drop comes back soon, I really want one!
Just about there! We've been in touch with the vendor regarding the group's order and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and pack the group's order for shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again as soon as everything is en route to us!

Expect another update from us on 11/10 or sooner if something comes up.

If you have any questions, please visit our Help Center (https://massdrop.com/helpcenter).
Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the BenQ 27" XL2730Z 144Hz QHD Gaming Monitor and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.

As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 11/14.

We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 11/3.

If you have any questions, please visit our Help Center (http://massdrop.com/helpcenter).

What kind of upgrade will this be from my ASUS VG248QE? What will I gain aside from size?
Knowing diddly-squat about monitors, how does it compare to say a Asus MG279Q 27.0" 144Hz Monitor?

4ms refresh time on the Asus vs 1ms on the 2730z, but the Asus has an IPS screen, which has better color and viewing angle. Both have freesync, which is great but only works if you have an AMD card. It'll keep your image from tearing when you go below 144 FPS.

So essentially, if you're buying for speed (like most of us w/ 144hz monitors), this BenQ is faster, but if you're looking for the best picture, and response time isn't as much of a concern, the Asus is probably better. Differences are pretty minor for these two tho, the BenQ does have excellent color for a TN and the Asus will still be wicked fast.

I've got this monitor and playing any sort of fast-paced game is a dream. Overwatch, Battlefield 1, CS:GO, League, Dota, all benefit a lot from the super fast refresh and response time on this monitor.
any recommend triple monitor arms?

i have this screen its awesum, clearly the best of all times, this is my 7 screen.

The 2720Z is 100$ cheaper. On amazon.com the 2730Z (same as the drop) is 509$.
xl2720z and
xl2730z not the same...
why no g-sync monitors

I agree all we ever see is LG or BenQ monitors on here! I don't believe LG makes anything but Freesync monitors! I know for sure BenQ and Asus makes some nice G-Sync monitors. Come on Massdrop let's see some green in the choices!!!
just a comment in general but does Massdrop offer g-sync monitors coz all I see is freesync which is not much help if I have an g-sync card
When will a monitor manufacturer make a 24" IPS Freesync 144Hz screen?

Apparently there's no demand for them. I'd like that too, but it seems you have to upgrade to 1440p if you want that combo. There might be some Korean monitors that fit that bill but there's some QC issues there.
