It's been a few weeks since I got this. This pen is complete garbage. I can't stress that enough. It has never had a good flow of ink, always starts and stops. Now the part where the collar connects has started to break. What cheap construction. I wish I never bought this.

TZIGamesThe ink flow may be able to be reparied. The collar breaking is very alarming for sure. If you're aiming for trying to salvage the pen, let me know, and I can post some information about how to increase ink flow. It'll kinda depend on where the bottleneck is at, if it's in the nib or the feed, about what you may need to do. A good first solution is to get some ink cleaning solution (or make your own), and flush and let the pen sit for awhile. The problem with mass produced pens (likely like this) is that there's very little cleaning/testing at the factory, so you can have oils from manufacturing sitting in the nib. The breaking though, that's really bad. Depending on where that's at, and how it is, fixing that may be really difficult. But, there are likely ways of fixing that too if you want to provide some pictures.

TheDarkTrumpetI never thought of doing a proper cleaning before inking. I’ve had issues with multiple pens on their first ink. What do you use to flush your pens? I haven’t gotten around to buying a proper cleaning kit, was thinking of just buying the one Goulet sells.
