To be honest, I prefer shorter than 57", this is about average length for a tie. I'm short though, only 5'5". This seems like it would work for most people.

You can have very nice custom ties made for around $85. You may want to explore this approach since chances are you are already purchasing MTM or bespoke suits!
Massdrop's model relies on reduced pricing though bulk near-identical orders. Having lots of less common sizing options is probably not profitable for that approach.
