For an everyday watch that’s durable, easy to read, and light on the wrist, you can’t go wrong with the Ventara. Featuring a stainless steel case and a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, the watch is tough as nails Read More
I have a Seiko 5 and a Bertucci A-5P. I like the Seiko fine, but since I got the Bertucci, it’s been my daily driver. Yes it has lugs instead of pins; that was a plus in my book. I picked up an aftermarket leather nato band from FFF (Form Function Form) and it’s the ideal combination for me. Ymmv.

insolentcurthanks for the strap recommendation, I love the look of that - should fit perfectly with a few old pieces I've been struggling to find the right replacement strap for!
ReconditeUntil when you need to replace the battery, and worry about leaks after that...

It's a solid quality brand. I've been using a Bertucci as my everyday watch for the past 9 years. But it's the C-1T tonneau model, much classier look than this one.
You can do both at the same time, you know. Interesting AND durable. You’d sell more watches that way too.
edit: Don't get me wrong, I've been to Bertucci's website and some of the watches there are pretty sweet, and I would certainly wear one. The model on offer here however is bleh.
martygeeozFor sure! I am a fan of both, definitely can't beat a Seiko, but Bertuccis in their own right are great watches and IMO often underrated and overlooked. There isn't a whole lot that you can do to make a military style field watch much more interesting, but damn are they tough/reliable, and classic!
