I've got a couple of Bertucci's that I've had for a few years; one of their titanium case models, and this model (DX3) currently offered on MD. These are my weekend beaters..... hiking, hunting, fishing, etc. The resin case is very lightweight, but takes a beating. Comfortable, accurate, tough as nails, and I think very good looking. If you want a dependable field beater, you be hard pressed to do better IMHO.

mashto93Not loud, but there is an audible tick if you hold the watch near your ear. At arms length, I can't hear it in a very quiet room. It's not obnoxious at all, but it is there.

IdeehoI think it's expected to get a tick at close range in all but over - 1000 dollar watches. The difference is, does it tick like a timex or is it quiet at a foot? Thanks for the indication
