You can get this from Amazon as well. Actually I just noticed today, Amazon has Kershaw Link 3.25" Drop-Point Folding Knife (1776GRYBW) on sale for $29.44. Shipping is free and I think it is a good deal as well.

There hasn't been anything interesting for a long time here. The few things I like the look of are way out of my price range.

I see that you have worked diligently to raise the price. I see little, if any, evidence of any work done to address QC issues about this knife, and certainly no evidence of letting us know what has been done. I like the fact that you have this forum. It's a great thing. I like it even better that you seem to allow (virtually) all posts. You really should employ these responses to improve the way you run this place. I grew up in a time when most business based there dealings on the concept, The customer is always right." I know that is not true, but it certainly produced a good feeling when I had an issue, which was almost never. Today, it looks like nearly all businesses treat the customer as a necessary evil, being only a means to the bottom line. What a great ethos had swept thru the realm of commerce,we, the customers, are guilty until proven innocent.

I see this knife is delayed. I've ordered three Bestechs and two have been delayed by week's and one cancelled. I like their knives, but there are a lot of other low-end knife makers out there without these problems. Whether it's "Drop" or Bestech, I won't bother with Bestech on this site again.
So this ain't the end, I saw you agaaAAAIN, today Had to turn my heart away You smiled like the Sun, kisses for everyone And tales, it never fails! You lying so low in the weeds Bet you gonna ambush me  You'd have me down, down, down on my knees Now Wouldn't you, Barracuda?

I want to like the baracuda but i guess i got a poor example. Gritty action and dull. The sharpened bevel is almost non Existant. All my other bestechs have been great QC wise though and i do like them . Yea its a $35 knife and these issues are fixable so idk maybe ill sell it and try again or maybe ill just fix it. Hopefully everyone else got good examples at least. A little disappointing but out of probably 10 BT models ive bought this is the first w some issues albeit it minor ones. Still for the price point i guess i cant complain to much really. Time to break out the lansky i suppose.

Edit, update: Knife was returned for a refund. Internal quality was not what I originally thought on this one, not their usual quality at all. Aside from the gritty action, which I assumed was just the usual need of cleaning and oiling with something better, after reassembly the detent ball fell out after 3 flips. Closer inspection showed crooked holes drilled in the liner, including the detent ball hole and the stop pin hole. Between that and the other comments, cannot recommend this particular model until / unless we hear that the issues have been addressed. --------------------------------------------------------- Mine just arrived. @theupandcoming my detent is very strong, can't shake open 💪😁👍 @Belphegor the angle of the flipper means you can't "push button" it, but "light switch" flipping works just fine. Haven't dismantled yet, but no complaints on the build quality that I can see now. Strong detent, action is a little gritty but still shakes closed (I'm sure this will improve once cleaned and better oiled, they always do). Blade is well centered with no play. Lockup is earlier than I like though, less then the full thickness of the liner. Edge is okay, but certainly not as sharp as a lot of my other Bestechs came. Handle is more comfortable than I expected, but this long and shallow finger choil is weird. Too shallow to feel confident i wouldn't slip up into the blade if I'm not focusing. So long that it feels like there's a huge separation between my hand and the cutting edge when not choking up (because, well, there is). I know I'm going to constantly land in the choil when I go to cut something 😕 All in all: their usual build quality but, in my opinion, not their smartest blade design

No problem 👍 And thanks for reminding me about this. I updated my original post and added my experience in the review section. So far most complaints about the gritty action cleared up after better oiling. I didn't see anyone else mention the extent of issues I had, so hopefully mine was a fluke and yours will be all good! I'm right with you there on owning most of their G10 stuff, and this one just came as a shock by comparison. The next one will be better. I'm choosing to remain optimistic 😁👍

KavikI took my baracuda down today for inspection and while I wouldnt call anything i saw with the liners precision, luckily my example did not exhibit anything terrible and looked to be about on par with what I would expect for a sub $50 budget knife. The one thing i did notice is the detent install does look pretty questionable though looking like its glued in place rather than pressed in and i didn't like how the hole goes all the way through the liner for it. Doesnt seem like its gonna be the most durable over time but we shall see. As far as the double row bearings im not a fan of plastic bearing cages as i have had trouble with them before swelling over time and having to be sanded down to fit right again to restore the action like in my Spyderco domino. The southard uses the same setup also sans these are single row bearings and are in actual pockets as opposed to the cuda where the bearings are sandwiched between the liners so maybe that issue wont present itself due to that fact. I would prefer BT go back to their old ceramic bearing setup as i havent had any issues with those models and their actions are plenty good enough and havent had to disassemble any of those models. After cleaning and lubing the cuda with nano 10 weight oil the action has improved considerably though. I havent resharpened the edge yet but that will be next when this tiny microbevel dulls out in no time then i will reprofile. Im not a fan of the "choil" and may regrind that part but i did know about it going in and as long as the detent ball doesnt fail (my only real concern) im happy enough for the $35 i paid. Its still better than alot of other knives at the price point. While i will be probably keeping mine (still undecided) i cant say i would recommend the baracuda though as there are better BT models to be had and you were right to send yours back... Im glad they took care of you. Still i wouldnt hesitate to buy BT again. I still think they are great for the money and every company has QC issues from time to time. Its all about how they handle it.

I wonder how well this deploys with the smaller flipper tab.
