I've owned this Bestech BG05 for almost a year, and it's been in my pocket for most everyday of that year. I also own a Bestech tanto, which I enjoy, but the scimitar blade on the BG05 is distinctly more functional. It has a wicked tip, the D2 has kept a phenomenal edge and the flipper only became smoother over time. The folder is hefty, but not overly so. The balance is back in the G10 scales, right at the thumb notch for me, which always keeps the mass in my hand. It's silly, and probably an unitentional manufacturing side effect, but I'm very pleased with the mottling in the black scales. I like it. Think I'll keep it.
Just gotten into the world of flipper knives, and this one is one of my faves. Once broken in, it flips so well! So much fun to play with, and love the shape of that blade. Arm shaving sharp out of the box. Con is the liner lock is a bit 'small' for my chunky fingers
Big blade with a great shape and the D2 takes a nice edge. Great kitchen slicer (gotta bring your own to most folk's house!) This is a large knife and may be too much for EDC for some.
Ticks enough boxes for the price. Is a solid workhorse that I don’t feel the need to baby because it feels robust and it was cheap! On the bigger side which I don’t mind but maybe hefty for some as an EDC
