I've been avoiding this one due to the fact that the price increase over their D2 blades seems like way too big of a difference. (and, it looks okay, but doesn't grab me like some of their other designs)
Finally caving and ordering the green though. Getting to the point where there are so few G10 series Bestechs that I don't own, I feel like I need to complete the set lol
Why do we have this built in desire to complete sets of things?

KavikIt's like when you're missing the 5.5mm socket in your socket set. You may never need it, but the socket rack just looks wrong with an empty space in it.

bookworm13Right?!? And I haven't even built a display for these yet.....but in my head I know there are empty spots haha
Was just putting together a list of all my knives. Been needing to do this for all my crap for insurance reasons, this seems like as good a place to start as any.....since they would definitely question this one in case of theft..."You want us to believe you had HOW many knives?" And I know my collection is SMALL compared to many here, but more than the average person would consider sane LOL
Anyway, here's where I'm at on the Bestech "set" so far: BG01-Lion - On Order BG02-Grampus - X BG03-Swordfish - Owned BG04-Warwolf - On Order BG05-Scimitar - On Order BG06-Kendo - On Order BG07-Pebble - On Order BG08-Rhino - On Order* BG09-Spike - X BG10-Thorn (black) - Owned BG10-Thorn (green) - Owned (gift to son) BG11-Beluga - X *update : after writing this I just got an alert for an ebay coupon. On a whim I searched for the Rhino, found the exact one I wanted, new, at an already discounted price, plus the coupon.... $68 shipped. Deal of the week for me right there 😁😁 (sorry, would share details, but he only had the one)
I do have a couple of the titanium series also, and a couple more I'd like.....but luckily I don't feel as much of a need to own all of those LOL BT1710-Imp-Titanium & CF - On Order BT1711-Goblin-Titanium & CF - Owned BT1711-Goblin-Titanium (grey) - Owned, but looking to sell, got the CF version after getting this one
With all those purchased, I have no regrets and still want the rest, if that tells you all what I think of these knives so far :)

Kavik10/10 recommend getting the Dolphin, and the Starfighter is pretty cool, but they're both of the titanium series.

KavikI think that's how the periodic table was created. An unquenchable need to finish sets and have them in order.

Blue_PedroI'm still on the fence with the Starfighter. Will probably get it some day, these last couple drops for it just haven't been the right time.
And i don't think I love the dolphin actually. The blade looks too thin for the handle for my taste.... Like my grandfather's fishing knife, that had probably already seen 30 years of sharpenings when I first saw it lol
