Spent the groceries and half the rent....on knives recently. My cheap Bestechs are amazing. This should be even better. Maybe it will come around again when I have a bit a extra cash. Oh, well.

This one Drop is good enough to give you $150 for the non black blade. Why not the Shinkansen? Geez, I got mine for 155 else where but shipped right away.

$200 at BladeHQ and KnifeCenter. Good deal here Drop, kudos. I’d jump on this one but I have too many knives with similar specs to justify this purchase. I have the mini Emperor, Shinkansen and the Engine. All stellar build quality, outstanding fit and finish. Bestech has to be one of the most underrated knife makers right now. They’re putting out super nice, damn near custom quality knives these days.

Is it just me, or does the colors and the name remind anyone of the movie "The Last Starfighter". I'm sure that even it that was some of the inspiration Bestech can't/won't admit to it, and who can blame them. I'm just wondering if anybody else sees the same, or if I'm just on a nostalgia journey? :)

Looking at the specs, it says the blade stock is 0.13in(3.8mm). 0.13in is 3.3mm and a good slicing thickness. 0.15in is 3.8mm and not so good for slicing. Which measurement is correct?

OK... the is the last one for awhile, and a Spyderco Shaman satin blade and looking for a new ZT if they'd ever come up with some new designs or Sprint runs.
