A Wide-Bellied Flipper In 7 Styles
Looking at the Bestech Toucan—with its wide belly and tip that transitions into a recurved secondary edge—it looks a lot like the beak on the bird its named after. Perhaps most importantly, this 8.4-inch flipper has plenty of blade, which translates to plenty of cutting power. Made from D2, it can hold a good edge, too. The handle and blade come in many combinations, whether you want something flashy or more subdued. G-10 scales are used for the handle, which surrounds a liner lock for secure blade lockup. To keep it from being bulky, the stainless steel liners are skeletonized. Clip the Toucan to a pocket on the right side or let it dangle from the lanyard hole on the pommel.
