Update: with a lot of stretching, pulling on each end with help from a friend, I finally got the cotton cover back into a usable position. While it was still slightly damp, I ironed it dry while stretching it lengthwise. The corners are on and the ends are finally reaching slightly over the edge. It is not popping off so I am happy to have gotten it back into a usable position. I think to keep from having to wash it in the future I might put a protective piece over it in case of soiling from the iron, then I just have the protective piece to wash instead of the entire cover again. I am really happy with the board and would definitely buy it again, I just would warn others to be very careful with washing the cotton cover and be aware of potential shrinkage. Original post: Have had mine about a month now and still love the board . However, my cover became stained from my iron so I washed it in cold water, and hung it to dry to minimize possible shrinkage . It shrank almost 4-5 inches in length! I re-soaked the cover in cold water again and while wet stretched it over the boards's corners but it still is not reaching the edges on either end. If I can't stretch it out, it is no longer usable, which is a huge disappointment.
