MehereThanks for sharing! I'm not that concerned as the white model lists for about $50 more than its black counterpart on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-Custom-One-Pro-Interactive/dp/B00D8BP8H8
I'm personally very partial to the white, but if you prefer the black or have no preference, that's certainly an option available to you.

Danny_LiuWhen will the black custom one pro's drop? (I'm not partial to white headphones) Maybe a black Friday drop if this drop for the white is an early one? Would consider the buysonic link (good price, good colour) but you have to register a north american address, can't really do that from New Zealand. I would join a drop for the black custom one pro's.

Danny_LiuI've had several white headphones - v-modas especially, and they never tended to get dirty. But if you were to lay them on the ground or toss them into places that are really dirty, they might pick up some of that dirt.

dalethorni was so tired of my v modas, ive had the lp's and lp2's and m100's. they all sounded great but i ended up selling my lp2's and m100's because they were too expensive and quite uncomfortable. i just couldnt stand it. i wanted to love them, but it wasnt meant to be. but i agree, getting dirty isnt so much an issue, they wont always be crisp white, but black will eventually get dingy too
