These headphones are listed as over-ear, but keep in mind that they are more like on-ear headphones. They are a tad bit small for my ears (which are not big). I bought these from a local dealer, but returned them after a few days. Couldn't get over the clamp force and the discomfort pressing against my ears. They sound pretty good though! They are almost all plastic, but are very sturdy and solid. Cable is nice if you like coiled cables

Or I can just buy these on Amazon right now for only $5 more with next day/one day shipping. Then to have their excellent return service just in case something goes wrong is worth the extra $5 as well. We all know what a complete hassle it is to deal with Drop when it comes to Replacements or returns. No offense drop I'm still a customer regardless 😂. All these things though leaves me with zero incentive (or basically anyone else within the US) to purchase from this drop. The price should be $53 tops.

These sound pretty good! Saw a demo set in a pro audio shop today and tried it casually (coz of external noise interference). Definitely not comparable to the dt880 pros beside them esp in terms of soundstage and imaging, but they fare really well otherwise. They have less of that bright, slightly metallic sheen on higher female vocals in comparison with the dt880 pro. I do hear a mild treble peak in them though; but at the same time they sound kinda laid back (it's hard to explain). Bass is very well balanced, less emphasised than that of the presonus hd9 which I tried as well. Conclusion: I was so close to buying them in the shop- and it was at a higher price compared to when it dropped here. Will probably snatch these up if they show themselves here again (hopeful ^^)

Awesome! Dunno if it's fate or what, but my friend just asked me to help recommend him a good, budget, closed-back over-ear headphone a few days ago. His music taste is quite different from mine (he listens to edm, hip hop and stuff like Linkin Park) and he's vegan (which means no leather) so I spent the past 2 days trawling through massive amounts of data in several websites on headphones, both old and new; and this happens to be one of the shortlisted ones. Shall get him to take a look :D

I am looking for cheaper mobile alternatives to my HD25. Would like the neutrality alike my stationary Beyer DT250 but easier driven and more comfortable too. Guess I'd need to take a look at the ATh-m40x mentioned in above test review at $99 These DT240 pro are really not cheaper for me living inside EU having to pay tax and probably freight, a pity really as the pricing $64.99 seem fair and they looks good too. Eventually warranty issues might be easier solved buying locally too.
