The K7XX headphones are NOT a re-badged K712. They are based on the K702 65th Anniversary Edition (2nd revision) and made much more cheaply in China (rather than Austria).
The HD 6XX headphones are essentially re-badged HD 650.
Your sentiment on the warnings is bang on though. Anyone who thinks that Newegg version gives you cancer is very confused.

FriedumplingThe cancer warnings are from proposition 65 in California. Soon coffee will have the same warning. Its nothing more then Nanny State bullshit. Just count yourself lucky if you don’t live here.
