Does anyone have experience ordering these (or any other) $200 pair of headphones shipped to Europe? Did you pay import duties and VAT on your $200+ order? Typically massdrop ships via DHL and then hands it off to our local National Post. I've not had to pay import duties on my <$100 orders so far. PLEASE SHARE IF YOU HAVE SUCH INFO
DT880 165€ amazon
Not sure why anyone would pay $200 for this when you can get the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Premium 600 ohm for $187.80 with free shipping on https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0024NK34O

Sorry my bad, it is $184 :)
Yeah. This isn't a great deal. I just picked up the 600 Ohm version on Amazon for $250 CAD (~$195 USD), and I got them the next day rather than 3-4 weeks later..
Looks like this is not a deal at all, I'll ask anyway..
What's the difference between the Pro and the Premium? Both recent Massdrop versions are 250 ohms, Are they sounding the same?

Noone here asked about difference in 32 Ohm vs 250 Ohm. The OP asked about difference between Pro and Premium models of same 250 Ohmage.
So yeah, do some research on properly reading the question, I guess.

You are absolutely right sir I apologize
These can be had from literally anywhere else for less money, I will pay $200 when they have a detachable cable. #CollabMassdropBeyerdynamicDetachableCable

This vs DT990 250ohm?

I spent a couple of days with the DT990 250ohms and then ending up buying the DT880 Premiums in 250ohms (paid about US$175). The answer to your question is 'it depends on what you are using them for'. My opinion is that for music, the DT880 is significantly better (neutral, natural) than the DT990. To my ears, the treble on the DT990 is harsh and metallic, to the point where the instruments warp into electronic clanging. The DT880 has a lot of treble sparkle, but not to the point of 'near pain', and is detailed but somewhat natural. In terms of bass, the DT990 has more of it than the DT880, but again it's quite artificial-sounding to me.
BUT - if you're looking for headphones for gaming, the DT990s are very good. They have a massive soundstage, which gives a 3D effect when gaming. The soundstage on the DT880 is absolutely fine for music, but yeah, for gaming, the DT990 will impress more.
Beats me. Amazon has them for $20 less and ships a whole lot sooner.
What's the draw? These can be had from other outlets for the same or lower price.
