msyaukat32-ohm is basically meant for listening without an amp. The disadvantage is more "hiss" but not everyone is sensitive to that. Probably, if you have to even ask, it's not an issue.
No one can say if it's "worth your money" but I can tell you when I was a broke student, spending hundreds of dollars on headphones was much more important to me than beer money or whatever else people do at that age.
msyaukatDT880 & DT990 with 32ohm is not, reaching the performance per money ,you've paid for compared to 250 and 660 ohm model. Getting a DAC for powering the 250ohm model is definitely worth the extra investment. But even so, its not as bad as, ahem, you should know.
FuckHead-Fiit does most of the time, try out some 660ohm and 250ohm headphones. Beredynamic's Tesla drivers offered clear comparison on their T-series headphones.
SaemonI have the T1 2 gen... should i bother to get this one? are they very different in sound? do they have more bass?
or the T1's are the top of the line and there's no need to go lesser? thanks.
freespiritT1 is indeed the top of the line, but to me the only others that deserve a higher place than T1 are the Planar-Driver headphones. The richness of sound are very different and normal drivers just couldn't please my type of music. If you wanted something less power and more on the sound-stage, HD800 fits nicely. Something same caliber as DT880 would be, in my opinion, HD600.
