When they say these cans are comfortable, they don't lie. The microfibre 'velour-like' ear cushions and natural tonal balance of the drivers make for pleasant listening sessions. I picked up a 32 ohm set and pair it with a dragonfly 1.2 DAC/AMP. I use this for home listening.. They would be OK for a private office, and they reveal less sounds than a completely open back model but still way too much in a sensitive environment or shared space where others might be inclined to be disturbed.
The 600 ohm sets need a proper headphone amp to realize their ability.

gotmoretoysI use a Schiit Magni 2 for my DT880 600 ohm. Works quite well.
