Lots of different reviews about this all over the internet. I'm interested in a comparison against the HD6XX, which I already have, I think we can say for sure their treble is more prominent, but are they piercing? I'm very sensitive to treble, but I'm looking for something to make contrast with the HD6XX, but still pleasant to hear.

FenrizIt depends on what kind of treble you're sensitive to. I own the HD650 (which I believe the HD6XX are VERY similar to) and the DT880 PRO 250ohms. I drive them through a Schiit Asgard (original) and Cavalli Tube Hybrid (Genalex Gold Lion tube).
On the spectrum of headphones, the HD650s are laid back. Some people find them too laid back and even veiled, but imo, they're perfectly lush, syrupy musical goodness. They're my favourite listening headphones. If I crank them too hard, they get more forward and eventually shouty. The DT880s are more airy. They're almost on the other end of the spectrum of balance in terms of focus. They're faster and they shimmer and sparkle, but are they harsh? I don't think so. They're never sibilant when the track isn't so. If I crank the DT880s too hard, they're definitely more like to hurt, and moreso with the Cavalli. The Asgard seems to control the treble on the DT880s slightly better.
Hope this helps. Ask away.

FenrizI own both, and these two definitely sound different. While the 6XX is my favorite out of all my (too-many) headphones, the DT880 is very near the top as well. I consider them my personal reference headphones, as I compare everything else to them.
I'm not usually a fan of headphones that others call bright, so I don't know that I would characterize them that way. What I do think they are is very revealing. For instance, the Eagles "Take it Easy" sounds harsh to me on bright headphones, but sounds great on the DT880s, because the underlying recording is good. But, for example, I recently played the Belle Stars "Sign of the Times" on them and it was terrible because of the recording itself. Other headphones I have (e.g., Porta Pro) are less clear and kind of roll off the top end, which makes bad recordings much more listenable. Given their noticeably different sound profiles, I think they make a great complement to the 6XX.
As a side note, since these are no longer up at MD, I'd suggest taking a look at BuyDig for these, especially their ebay store. They often have the chrome edition (looks like T1s) at a really good price, and when you can combine a coupon with a sale, and get them in the low $100s, they can be the headphone deal of a lifetime.

GunsOfBrixtonNice, thanks for the heads up, I'll look into it, based on the opnions I've got here and other reviews, I think this are the only Beyer I could have, I'm happy with the HD6XX, but I'm looking for something less bassy, I'm even considering to buy the HD600, I think I'll end getting the DT880 as well.

FenrizI just grabbed some DT 880s (600 Ohms) a few weeks ago, and am powering them with a Schiit Stack (Modi2U/Magni3). The brightness of them definitely took a bit of getting used to. For the most part, once you get used to it, they sound pretty great... but on occasion the brightness of them can make certain tracks (or parts of certain tracks) sound unpleasant.
