SennyGood point - It's hard to compare them together.
However, Ferrari is still better. I'm sorry.

SennyFerrari. Hands down. If you want a real sports car and not a piece of rolling jewelry.
But your point is well taken. :)
Sorry, the car guy came out.

SingulariousI don't particularly like either brand, but the Huracan is the best performing car put out by either of them right now and Ferrari has developed a reputation for horrendous reliability and occasional engine fires.
Luckily, these headphones will not light your head on fire. (hopefully)

NothatsoThe Huracan is a fine car.
But until *last year* Lamborghini was a complete joke in the world of racing. They were (are) known as the tools of rich men with a peacock complex that usually cannot drive.
Ferrari has a deep, deep, deep racing history and they continue to dominate in multiple organizations across the globe.
Lamborghinis might fare okay at the dragstrip, but on the track they are heavy, have unnecessary AWD mechanisms, and don't hold up to competition-level beatings.
The ONLY reason Lambo even gets to be mentioned in the same breath, performance-wise, is because VAG now owns them, and Audi has been extremely competitive in upper race echelons for about a decade now. Lamborghini's entry into real racing is due almost entirely to the fact that they are now built on Audi engineering platforms.
No competition here, but your point on both headphones being good is well taken. :)

tbjsNah, 911 GT2 RS is the right answer. They have the ring record for a reason.

SingulariousFunny you say that as Lambo has the 2nd best time on the ring. Ferrari doesn't even break the top 10 🙃 They're even beat out by the likes of Godzilla, AMG, and the Viper.

jaydunndidditThe Ring is full of Ringers. Real motorsport is different. But again, Lambo has been very competitive since VAG bought them. It's just that Ferrari has about a 50-year headstart on winning.
And I don't even like Ferraris. I think they are overpriced and that the company treats their clients like absolute garbage.

SingulariousWell, considering that Lamborghini typically doesn't compete in motorsport says a lot about history. Nonetheless, the Huracan GT3 has really been killing it by soaking up a wins at 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring and the Super Trofeo just won at Silverstone and Monza. The fact is that Lamborghini hasn't been doing this as long as Ferrari, nor do they compete in Formula 1 (I don't even think they supply engines any longer either).
So as I stated, the fact that they dominate on the ring with production cars and also have been dominating on the track with a Huracan GT3 you can actually own says a lot about the brand as a viable racing team.
Personally, after all the noise Enzo Ferrari spouted off to Ferruccio (who owned a 250 GT) about him being a bad driver and to "stick to tractors" as well as not owning up to the crappy clutches in his cars (at the time), I have much more love for Lamborghini. What better way to stick it to a jackass like that than to build your own automobile company and compete with him by using his engine design (which he improved) and ex-Ferrari employees? This is one of my fave stories in motorsport history next to the rivalry of Audi and Lancia in rally.

jaydunndidditLol.
I agree wholeheartedly about the reasons for the formation of Lamborghini.
Ferrari still treats everyone like dirt. Chris Harris remains one of my favorite automotive journalists because he decided to stand his ground and treat Ferrari the same as every other manufacturer. Their response was beyond childish.

ShinyR8I don't know about K7XX, as I use K701 and K702, but this post can shed some light, as it offers a good insight in possible differences between these and DT880 (and is well worth reading, imo): https://www.head-fi.org/threads/akg-k701-vs-beyerdynamic-dt880.440720/post-7730711 In case this link shows the intended post, and then suddenly jumps to the page (in the same thread) which has no relevant post regarding the DT880, look manually for the Post #47 of 83 in this thread from the headfi. It is rather detailed comparison between the two.
