RyanC1423I just looked. A few different 120's on Amazon with one at $52 free shipping. What's the diff between these 72ie and the 120? I'm in no rush, just care about isolation and nice clear flat sound.

My friend has the 120's and he loves the isolation. In his eyes, he says that's the only way he can get away from life. I can confirm this because I sometimes have a struggle getting his attention when he has his earbuds on in public.
If your also looking for a nice clear flat sound, you found it home. The Beyerdynamic does have a little bit of bass but does not spoil the whole song, my friend has heard certain things in a song that he hasn't heard before in the song with his headphones which are $200+ which he found ridiculous. (ex/quick little beats during a bass drop, we are Monstercat fans lol), thanks to the bass performance.

PS: If you have those cheap prices for a 160, which is a better version in the in-ear series, go ahead and get those but don't go higher then 99 dollars for the 160 because the difference is not that noticeable but if you can pop them for 70 they might be worth it, it's totally up to you on this.

The Beyerdynamic DX 120 are better in this series of earbuds(96USD on Amazon) and go around the same price once it hits lowest price on Massdrop. (shipping might toss you off, but I got mine for 52 dollars+shipping). The drop for these 120 earbuds ended a few days ago, if you have the urge to wait, go ahead and wait. I'm sure that the 120's will be back on the dropping block because they are in demand.
I'm not saying that the 72's are not that bad, they are perfect earbuds, the only factor is that if your willing to wait, you can get a better premium, for the same price.
