JTCPingasThis is actually a good one. It's a slightly improved dt770 with a great mic. That said, buying one used for a hundred dollars or more less is a better choice.

RlmendezI agree it is very good, $279 good no. Picked one up on ebay in like new condition for $160 pretty happy with it, has a great microphone.

RlmendezI still think you're better off getting a DT 880 or DT 990 at the same price.

JTCPingasDT880 has messed up imaging/positional accuracy and the DT990 has horrible treble glare. These are actually more neutral than the normal DT770. They're actually quality headphones.

RlmendezEither way, a DT-770, 880, and 990 can be purchased for less than these headphones. Honestly, if I was interested in these, I would go for a 770 for a closed pair, and get something else completely different with the extra cash, like an SR-80e. That would begin a diverse headphone collection.

stevew111The demographic for this headphone isn't the same (usually) as the demographic going for a Grado.

RlmendezJust used it for arguing sake. Unfortunately, the demographic group for gaming headsets tend to go towards brands like Razer instead of Beyers.
