YakovWell, first I said "optional". Second "artificial sound"? lol. If we're talking about using this headset with a computer, sounds recreated from bitstreams are always "artificial". It's the quality of the DAC that matters, and when I'm gaming I don't really need a state-of-the-art audio chain, would much rather have ease of use and be able to plug-and-play.

Totes get that with USB headsets. No software needed. No gimmicky virtual surround sound (which by the way I was referring to by artificial)
