I purchased the 2 man version of this tent in the last drop. I've used it several times and found that it to be a great tent for one person. I like that it is free standing, which is useful as many of the heavily used tracks where I live have tent platforms to limit damage.
I appreciate the weight saving from my previous, mine comes in at 1.6 kg with Tyvek ground sheet (I bought the wrong type so I think it's a little heavier), guide ropes, 4xTi nail pegs, 6XTi Shepherd hooks and 4xGroundhog stakes + ripstop stake bag.
Packed size in nice and small. I like that the tent storage bag is oversized allowing easy packing of the tent, which can then be sinched down with the compressions straps.
It'd be squeezy for 2 people and gear as the vestibule is small. I also think that due to the door design of the dome tent, water can come in to the tent inner during entry and exit in wet conditions.

djprI would say it depends on you and your hiking partner. I've used this with my significant other many times, and for us, its perfect. If I was sharing with a non-significant other... then it may seem a bit too snug.

AJXDThat's true and it also depends where you camp. Where I live the weather and temps can be so variable that it's very difficult to pack as small and lite weight as I've seen some of the US guys do.
